GEORGETOWN HEAD START CENTER

This is an excellent example of the planning books we saw at the High/Scope Preschool. The children look at the areas in the book and choose the area they wish to go to. This is very effective with children who are quiet or shy and at the beginning of the year when children are jus learning about the centers.

This activity involves language(words and naming the pictures),
science(outdoor items), math(coutn the pictures and letters in words) and
fine motor skills(cutting the pictures from magazines).
