The Waccamaw Economic Opportunity Council, Inc. Employee of the Quarter Award is designed to recognize excellence over and above job responsibilities.   Eligible staff members may be nominated for this award for their exemplary achievements or efforts based on the following criteria:

  • Employee has contributed to the mission of Waccamaw EOC, Inc. by an exemplary act over and beyond the call of duty.
  • Excels as a team player.
  • Must be a regular full-time employee of Waccamaw EOC, Inc.
  • The exemplary act must have occurred within the quarter.

Guidelines for Employee of the Quarter:

  • Nomination form must be mailed and signed by the individual nominating the employee to the Conway Administration Office within 15 days of the end of the quarter. (ex: 1st quarter 2009 is due by April 15, 2009)
  • Nomination should be specific to the quarter in which the employee is nominated.
  • Nominations may be made by any employee.
  • Nominations should specifically describe how the employee performed his/her job above and beyond the requirements of the position. (ex: Describe how the nominee displays a positive attitude, met specific goals or accomplishments during the past quarter, went out of his/her way to assist fellow employees and the public or citizens that we serve, exhibits outstanding work ethics, and serves as a good role model for others.)
  • Any employee who has received a disciplinary action in the past year is ineligible.
  • Any employee who receives this award will not be eligible to win the award again until the following calendar year.
  • The Employee of the Quarter will receive a certificate and a $100 monetary award to be paid in the next available payroll, will be recognized by our Agency, and the nomination will be placed in the employee’s personnel file.
